So I've been busy in practice - both with flash and Photoshop. I had never really gotten my head around Photoshop before, even though I had been able to use it at a basic level for a long time. I guess there was still a naivety about me that prevented me from diving right into everything, right up until I learnt flash - where I found that there simply wasn't room for any patience for drawing, because it was all used up on other aspects.

The tedious repeating frames.. oh! But I don't mean that I don't enjoy it. I have been busy working on this Time Warp sequence since my last entry. I know that I probably won't be thrilled with it in the end - it is a simple piece - but I know that I will feel satisfied having created a first full movie. Plus, creating all my friends as cartoons and being in control of their actions is quite amusing.

I have been practicing using the effects of photoshop on my own drawn portraits and fan art. I know it's kind of.. n00bish.. but I am pleased with the progress. Today I have submitted one of the pieces.
